Sam and Jackie started their antique career many years ago. Combined they have more than 60 years of experience to include buying, selling and restoring antiques.
Sam was one of the first pioneers to join Renningers more than 23 years ago. He loves early American oak furniture and has mastered the art of antique restoration. Sam is a down to earth gentleman who never meets a stranger. His knowledge of antiques coupled with his ability to restore them has earned him a long time career in the antique business.
Jackie developed her passion for antiques when she was a little girl. Her Grandmother loved antiques and Jackie would watch and learn from her tirelessly. Jackie not only learned about the age and styles of antiques from her Grandmother but also mastered her talent of refinishing them. At an early age, Jackie’s Grandmother gave her a little table to re-finish and helped her develop her antique restoration skills. Jackie quickly developed her own passion for antiques and found that she loves rich mahogany pieces from the early 1900’s to 1930’s. Jackie was also one of Renningers original shop owners and has been in business there more than 20 years.
Sam and Jackie have been friends for more than 20 years and eight years ago decided to join their talent and become business partners. Their generous hospitality coupled with their knowledge of antiques makes a perfect stopping point when you visit Renninger’s Antique Market. You will find them both smiling in the “Street of Shops” located just outside the main antique building.
