Silver and silver plated objects need constant maintenance and
restoration. Traditional silver polishes available in the U.S. are caustic,
toxic, or abrasive chemicals which make silver shine by removing a fine
layer of the silver. The result, over time, is that the silver plate becomes
thinner and thinner until the base metal shows through. No amount of
polishing will help. The only remedy has been costly electroplating.
Replating an antique changes its look. No longer is it distinguished by the
wonderful patina associated with antique silver. Replating makes your
piece too shiny, like a modern day reproduction. This decreases its value.

PLATER and ENHANCING POLISH for over a decade to restore and
maintain their silver plated treasures. The PLATER restores luster and
sheen to antique silver, replating worn areas as you polish. It puts down a
new layer of real silver, cleans away tarnish, and leaves the antique patina
intact. The plating is permanent. The silver ENHANCING POLISH is a non-
abrasive polish, used to remove tarnish without wearing away a layer of

METHOD OF USE FOR BOTH PRODUCTS:
Protect work area, clothing and hands against stains, however, most stains
will wash off with soap and water.
Shake well, pour a small amount into plastic or glass bowl .
Treat a small area at a time. Apply liberally.
Rub an area thoroughly for about 15 seconds.
Re-apply 2 or 3 times to strengthen plating.
Immediately buff with a clean, soft cloth, paper towel, cotton ball or soft
toothbrush. Alternatively wash off with warm water and dry at once.
Repeat the process, as necessary, for difficult situations.
Never pour used liquid back in it's bottle.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Never use abrasive polishes again. To protect the silver and silver plate
items you have, just continue to use SILVER SECRET™ ENHANCING
POLISH.
Do not use either product on copper or copper based metals unless you
want them to be silver plated.

freshly plated or polished should be rinsed before use.
After a couple of applications of our PLATER, you may safely wash the
item in a dishwasher.
For ornate patterns try using a soft natural bristle brush or even a soft
